M&E Global is a defence contractor undertaking services on complex military equipment and aircraft for UK and US contractors. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Container Specialist to join our team.
The Role
Based in Dulmen, Germany you’ll get to work alongside our dedicated workforce on a US Military base.
Prior Container experience will be required, although additional training will be provided on site.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Role

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspects containers, document findings and generates the CSC inspection paperwork.
- Repairs and maintains the containers on site or determines if they need to be shipped to depot for repair if thedamage is too severe.
- Drives to 21st Theatre Sustainment Command (TSC) to collect the CSC recertification stickers and accounts forthem as used.
- Submits copies of the CSC inspections to 21st TSC.
- Ensures that all health & safety guidelines are adhered to when working within the container inspection areas.
- Ensures all containers are recertified within the specified timeframes to prevent lapses in certification.
- Utilizes ACAMS to account for containers arriving, leaving or that are static on site.
- Updates ACAMS with new CSC expiration dates for containers.
- Ensures the containers have valid POC information with the container contents posted on the outside.
- Account for any keys or seals that lock containers under their control.
- Ensures any civilian leased containers are downloaded within the designated timeframes no demurrage feesare accrued.
- Submits inventories to 21st TSC and other government entities as required.
- Submits weekly updates to Supply Manager or Supply Lead to include CSC inspection report, damagedcontainer reports, and container inventory reports.
- Monitors the scrap metal and wood containers and arranges for pick up when full.
- Ensures that there are CSC certified containers available to ship equipment from APS-2Mannheim to otherlocations.
- Performs Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) on equipment and generates a DA Form2404 to report any maintenance faults.
- Be able to drive and operate the equipment on site, having undertaken the appropriate familiarizationtraining.
- Driver must follow the proper safety procedures in order to minimize any danger to themselves or otherworkers.
- Ensure that the equipment used is correctly dispatched.
- Use the correct hand signals to guide vehicles and equipment around the worksite.
