M&E Global is a defence contractor undertaking services on complex military equipment and aircraft for UK, US and Australian contractors. Our client have fantastic opportunities for F-35 Engineers to join their team in Australia! 

The Role
Based in Williamtown Site in NWS, near Newcastle Australia you’ll get to work alongside their dedicated workforce on a Military base.

This role is a fantastic chance for you to further develop your skills as an F-35 Engineer, working in an exciting environment.

The Essential Requirements:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to fulfill each of the following essential duties:
  • All applicants must hold a British or American passport.
  • You must have minimum 5 years’ experience working on the desired aircraft, or 2-3 years’ experience and a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • You must have one of the following aircraft related qualifications (Trade Certs, ONC, BTEC Diplomas or HNC/HND).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Defence security clearance
  • Thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures and replacement of parts.
  • Broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical theory and a thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools.
  • Working knowledge of technical publications and logistics information systems.
  • Able to prioritize workloads to maintain schedules on assigned projects and the ability to lead teams through complex aircraft relevant tasks.
  • Participate in maintenance test flights and operation checks as required.
  • Possess the level of experience to inspect all required aeronautical type maintenance performed by mechanics.
  • The post holder will receive technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician, will occasionally be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks, and may be required to make entries in aircraft logs and records.
